Surrounded Alone
This black-and-white series explores the spaces between solitude and presence within everyday environments.
Each image captures a suspended moment in which the individual, though physically surrounded — by nature, water, objects, reflections, or others — remains enclosed within an inner world, a silence inhabited from within.
The photographs focus on simple gestures, contemplative postures, and fragmented presences. Far from noise and distraction, they reveal a gentle poetry of isolation and a search for intimacy within the ordinary.
“Surrounded Alone” is an attempt to express the invisible: the fragile connection between self and world, between body and environment, between the fleeting moment and eternity.
